Value Club and the introduction of the retail distribution center idea

Costco’s set of experiences started with Sol Price and his child, Robert, opening the principal Price Club distribution center on July 12, 1976, on Morena Boulevard in San Diego, California, along these lines bringing forth another idea: a retail stockroom club. Costco opens

Costco opened its first stockroom in 1983 in Seattle on September 15,[9] by James (Jim) Sinegal and Jeffrey H.
